Happy Rezz Day to me!!

Four years ago, I decided to sign up for Second Life. I heard about it from other friends and decided that I would try it out. I was so confused on where to go and what to do when I was on here. I didn't know how to earn Lindens on here or even where to find clothes. After getting TPed around to various locations by people who I didn't know. I finally found a place where I could find free items called Freebie Planet (sound familiar anyone?) I thought I hit the jackpot. What I didn't realize that it was the bottom of the barrel items. So I gave in and bought some Lindens and purchased my first hair from Damselfly. About 6 months after joining. I saved enough to buy my first skin from Soul and was finally happy with my avatar. I met someone and was partnered for some time. I even met him in RL. It ended up not working out and SL didn't seem the same anymore. So I took a LONGGG break. I came back and decided to make new friends and start a new life. Here are some pictures of me though out the years below.

Year One

This is after I bought my Damselfly Hair. The rest was freebie items that I found from Freebie Planet or other freebie areas. I thought my skin at the time was awesome...I didn't know that it was REALLY bad. I thought it was great. But it wasn't.

Year One. After new skin. At this time I got a different hair from Dasmelfly and had a job where I could afford to buy items.

Year Two: I still had the same skin and another different hair. My dress I have on was from Bubblegum that was no longer open. I got it free because at the time I was a model for the store.

Year Three before my hiatus. I went back to my old hair and still have the same skin. I don't remember where I got the dress though. I do know it was my fave for a while.

Now: I blog about free items. When I came back to SL I decided that I wouldn't spend so much on clothes anymore. I went though my inventory and did a HUGE overhaul on it. Since I wanted at new start, I got a new shape, skin and hair. 

Now to the Rezz Day Gifts. I found that Wilson Clothing has a Rezz day gift. So when you have your Rezz Day come by to this Sim and pick it up. I found some other good freebies as well. I love this hair that I got from Eaters Coma. It comes in a fatpack hud that shows all the colors that you can pick up. There is also another hair as a free gift (will blog that tomorrow) and cute dress. I am not so keen on the skins that have the "open mouth" because it feels that I am standing there looking like "DUH" or have rabbit teeth but this one has an open mouth and it works well I think.
